About Us
Patriot Assistance is a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded to provide service dogs to Veterans suffering from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), TBI (Traumatic Brain Inuries), and more at no cost to the Veteran.
Our dogs are full-fledged service dogs that complete necessary tasks for their handler and are allowed full public access. They must complete the Canine Good Citizen Test as well as the Public Access test. They are not Emotional Support Animals or Therapy dogs. If the Veteran has a dog and would like to see if it qualifies for the program, we also offer testing and training for these dogs. Not every dog is cut out to do the job, but we are willing to help you find out!
If you are a Veteran and are interested in applying for a service dog, please go to our Application Process page for more information.
